The delegation of Hau Giang province visited and learned experiences at Van Trung Industrial Park, Bac Giang province
On March 19, the delegation of Hau Giang province led by Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee had a working visit to exchange experiences on production and business activities with FDI enterprises investing in Van Trung Industrial Park, Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province.
Accompanied by Mr. Dong Van Thanh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hau Giang province; Mr. Le O Pich - Vice Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, agencies and leaders of the Office of the People's Committee of Bac Giang and Hau Giang provinces.
Visiting and working with FuGiang Co., Ltd (Van Trung Industrial Park, Viet Yen district), the company leader said that it is one of 800 subsidiaries and branches around the world under Hon Hai Technology Group - Foxconn Technology Group, the company started construction in Bac Giang from March 2007.
After 16 years of operation, following the successes from the end of 2019 up to now, Hon Hai Technology Group has established 2 more legal entities in Quang Chau Industrial Park: Fuyu Technology Co., Ltd with total investment capital of USD 268 million and FuKang Technology Co., Ltd with total investment capital of USD 270 million. Currently, the Group prepares a dossier to propose investment policy for the Yen Son Bac Lung Industrial Park project (Luc Nam district) phase 1 with a scale of 300 hectares with a total capital of USD 154 million.
Talking about the establishment process of Van Trung Industrial Park, leaders of Bac Giang Industrial Zones Management Board also shared that Van Trung Industrial Park project has a scale of 237 hectares, divided into 2 phases. In which, phase 1 was started in 2007 with a total area of 149.6 ha. Phase 2, the province will continue to deploy 87.41 hectares, and it is expected that the work items will be completed in May 2022. By the end of 2021, Van Trung Industrial Park has attracted about 120 enterprises with 43,781 employees engaged in production; 100% occupancy rate.
For the Van Trung Social Housing Project, invested by FuGiang Co., Ltd., the leader of the Management Board of Bac Giang Industrial Parks also informed that the project has a scale of 16.7 hectares, with a total investment of more than 166 million dollars. In which, there are 22 high-rise buildings with 4,794 apartments, each apartment has an area from 65-68 m2; The project has 72 adjacent apartments with 5 floors high and 2 commercial buildings with 15 floors high with many accompanying utilities such as trade center, cultural house, medical center, school...
The project is deployed to create a modern social housing area, synchronous with social infrastructure and technical infrastructure, creating attraction for workers in Van Trung Industrial Park and surrounding Industrial Parks. Contributing to the socio-economic development of the province, improving operational efficiency and solving problems around the industrial park, especially housing.
Next, the delegation visited and worked at SJ Tech Vietnam Co., Ltd., a Korean enterprise manufacturing auto components. In 2021, despite being greatly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, with the support of the Bac Giang government, the Company's budget revenue still reached USD 70 million, contributing VND 4 billion to the provincial budget. Currently, the enterprise has nearly 1,500 workers with a basic salary of VND 10-12 million /month; the enterprise's revenue in February 2022 reached VND 134 billion.
Through the information exchanged by businesses, Secretary of Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh highly appreciated the achievements of enterprises in the past year. Despite being heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, businesses in Bac Giang province have made great efforts to overcome difficulties to complete their production and business goals and plans and contribute to the state budget. In addition, businesses have also coordinated with organizations and local authorities to do well in taking care of the material and spiritual life of workers and workers; thereby creating conditions to retain workers to work for businesses. Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh wished businesses in particular and Van Trung Industrial Park in general more and more development.
